Project Hail Mary

Rating 9.8/10

Overall Opinion: Project Hail Mary was a phenomenal movie. If you do not enjoy movies with sci-fi elements do not watch this movie. Other than that it is great. The plot was riveting, there was never a moment that I did not want to know what was going to happen next. The characters were all in some way helpful in moving the plot forward, and the acting was amazing as well. The visuals were breathtaking. This particular movie, thanks to being set in space, had a lot of opportunity to create some beautiful visuals, and they did. The music I think tied everything together, there were moments that made me want to cry and the music definitely helped make that happen. The pacing at the beginning, was a little rough, but pretty soon into the movie it became consistent, and stayed consistent throughout the movie. Overall, I really enjoyed this movie, so much that I went back to see it again. There were a couple of jump scares, but not anything actually scary, more just surprising. The language was mild at most, but kept more towards appropriate, and the violence was very minimal throughout the movie. I would definitely recommend watching this movie, and if you have kids old enough for a PG-13 movie, and they love space, they will love this movie.
